The Western Saddle or American, is the typical saddle of the Cowboy or vaquero. Designed for the comfort and stability of the rider during long working hours, it is made entirely of leather. Its main distinguishing feature is a horn at the front that is used to tie the lasso or rope that holds and controls the cattle.
